Behringer UMC 404HD - no audio in OBS

Hi, I'm trying to capture audio from my Behringer UMC 404HD in OBS on Windows. I want to use output channels 1/2 (master output from djay) as audio source for streaming.

Important: I don't use speakers, I monitor only through headphones connected directly to the Behringer. No audio goes through Windows default output.

I tried:

  • Desktop audio capture with Behringer as default Windows device
  • obs-asio plugin
  • ATK plugin
  • VoiceMeeter Banana as bridge
Nothing works, the audio meter in OBS doesn't move.

I use djay as my DJ software — I can't load Restream or VoiceMeeter on the master channel in djay, so the workaround I found for Ableton doesn't apply here.

The Behringer works fine simultaneously in multiple apps (Ableton, djay, YouTube) so it's not in exclusive mode.

OBS version: 32.1.2 Windows 11

Im using my Maschine+ standalone and as a controller over M3.
It works definetly, I already did it to stream with Behringer and my Maschine+, as a controller function as well.
My problem is the Stereo function and I still know, that the Behringer is the problem. Because the software of the Behringer has no Loopback function.

One thing is to use Wasapi Shared mode but I dont want to use it, cause it aint so stable like Asio.
So try Asio Link Pro or Cantabile Lite as solution.

You should ask ChatGPT, cause it helps really much to find a solution.
