Audio Issue with Headphones

For whatever reason, whenever I open OBS with my headphones connected (Beat Solos 3), they never let me hear anything. I've tried monitoring my sound, as it is picking sound up, I just can't hear anything with it. I've also try finicking with audio stuff in sound settings and mixer, but nothing. I even tried updating drivers, but my driver is on the latest driver. Well at least, that's what Windows Update says.

I am having a similar issue but for me im stuck on full volume. Im using my Bluetooth JBL headphones. I've turned down all audio sources but for some resone when i have obs open the is a adio channel playing at max valume even if i ajust my pc volume to 0 the adio still plays. The adio also sound dirty and squishy and its picked up in my recordings. I've looked at the adio mixer and all my settings are as they should be. If anyone has answers they would be greatly appreciated

First an important disclaimer: I don't have experience with that particular brand headphone, however... I did gain some experiences with another Bluetooth headset (Logitech Zone 300). Not fully comparable, but I can relate to the above issue: when I fire up my headphone then I get to hear standard audio (the headset is also the default Windows output device), but as soon as OBS starts my sound seems to be "muted" even though it's not (as in: I no longer hear any sounds, but the audio mixer still shows a valid signal).
As always: when in doubt, check your logfile(s). See the Help menu for more information on this, and if you're unsure what it all means then try this amazing online logfile analyzer.

In my situation it turned out that my bluetooth device actually had 2 system device entries ("Zone 300" and "Zone 300 Hands-Free AG"), and as soon as I switched Windows to the "other" output device then things behaved normally again. I eventually managed to trace this behavior back to the so called "monitoring device" =>

01:55:25.112: Device for 'Audio Output Capture' source Desktop-audio is also used for audio monitoring.
01:55:25.112: Deduplication logic is being applied to all monitored sources.

This, and working around those 2 separate devices, kinda resolved the issue for me.

Hope this can give you guys some ideas as well.

I don't really need help now, but thanks!
All I simply did was set the monitoring device to my headphones, set the audio device connected to Windows be my speaker, turn my audio down to 0 (or mute it), and monitor the speaker audio.
Oh and by the way, my headphones also have a "Hands-Free AG" output, but that output sounds like sh*t.

I'm not really sure about the speaker being at max volume. My guess is that you're monitoring your desktop audio (the little headphone icon on ur audio devices displayed in obs is on), and do you have a Hands-Free AG output? If you have that on, it might be the cause of the audio being sh*t.
